Holly Robinson Peete, her NFL star husband Rodney Peete and their family have just set up shop on the Hallmark Channel.

The family, whose reality series “For Peete’s Sake” ran on Oprah Winfrey’s OWN for two seasons, will premiere a new family docuseries for Hallmark in February 2018, titled “Meet the Peetes.”

“We couldn’t be happier to expand our relationship with Holly Robinson Peete and Rodney Peete, whose family values and generosity of spirit are a perfect fit for our network,” said Michelle Vicary, Executive Vice President, Programming and Network Publicity, Crown Media Family Networks. “We’re excited to move into primetime, unscripted programming and we know our viewers will embrace the Peetes’ story and fall in love with them as much as we have.”

The family’s network relocation comes four months after Holly announced on Instagram that OWN had canceled “For Peete’s Sake.”

“My whole family and I couldn’t be more excited to collaborate with Hallmark Channel and everyone at Crown Media Family Networks,” said Holly Robinson Peete in a statement. “Hallmark Channel has always been the top destination for family-driven stories and we’re thrilled to share our next chapter with such an amazing partner.”

“Meet the Peetes” is produced by Tremendous! Entertainment. Cameras will begin rolling this fall.

Below is the show’s official synopsis:

The series will chronicle their hectic lives as they navigate the waters of raising kids, their HollyRod charity and spending time with Holly’s 80-year-old mother Dolores, who moved in with them after retiring from her career as a talent manager. Their daughter Ryan is away at college at New York University while their son with autism RJ, who works for the Los Angeles Dodgers, decides he’s also ready to leave the family nest. On top of that, Holly’s mother Dolores announces she’s ready to move out as well — all of which will mark a period of change for the Peetes.

I was disappointed in OWN for cancelling the show, but Hallmark pick it up I was excited. I have a 28yr old son with autism and the show hits home for me. The episode when Ryan came out and spoke how she felt having a brother with autism and how it effective her life had me in tears. This was something I had not considered asking my own children. I was able to speak to my girls and both told me they both felt the same way. Hats of to the Peetes. This show has open my eyes and my family eyes. We are able to be on the outside looking it. My family and I are able to have dialogue which we never had before. Thanks again.

I love this show. Reality that is closer not only to how I actually live, but also draws me closer to how I want to live. Thanks for the positivity Peets. I this entertainment desert, this show is a nice, cold glass of fresh spring water.

I watch Hallmark so I do not have to watch reality TV. When this show comes on, I turn to another channel to watch a movie

What a wonderful show. Teaching manners
Respect and what a wonderful young man RJ is.
      Fantastic parents . Love

  4. I love this family. A good example of a black man loving is black wife and family which is harder find now days it’s not the in thing and what is perpetrated by most of these black celebrities now. May they continue to sow us black love still exists and it’s something to proud of .

  5. I love this couple a good example of a strong black couple and family . They have been married for years and still seem to be in love. I love to see a black man loving a black woman and his family. We need more example of that today.

I love that family. I bet if there was violence, adultery and drugs involved OWN would have kept it. all good though, I love the hallmark channel. I would watch that channel before I watch love and hip hop, basketball wives, etc. Best of luck to you Peetes!
