Dave Chappelle is now apologizing for urging everyone back in November to give then President-Elect Donald Trump a chance.

While speaking to the crowd at the Robin Hood Gala in New York City on Monday night, the comic admitted that he “f*cked up” when he said during his Saturday Night Live monologue that he wanted to give Donald the benefit of the doubt.

“I was the first guy on TV to say ‘Give Trump a chance.’ I f*cked up. Sorry,” he said. “I think that is way out of step with the way people feel in America. Am I wrong about that? Every day you wake up and you never know what he is going to do next. He’s exciting like you thought a Black president would have been.”

He had so many strikes against him from the gate, but all his supporters kept hearing was he was going to build a wall and let Mexico pay for it, well supporters? How’s that working out? You can’t run a country like to run a business no matter what you think. We have rules governing our country that don’t related to a private business and that’s all he’s done. He’s never served anyone ever, but himself. He’s a selfish bullshitter who sold all you idiots who voted for him a rotten bill of goods. Intelligent people knew this and knew he would not work to make this country better only himself to look better. It’s not working, he looks like a giant fool.

He definitely doesn’t need to apologize to me because I never listened to anyone saying give him a chance. The writing was on the wall WELL before Nov 8th, that he was NOT fit to be president of the U.S. He doesn’t have the wear-with-all or mindset to handle all the things that will be thrown at him. He wanted to do things his way. Everyone keeps saying what a great businessman he is, well hell, the clown filed bankruptcy six times that we know of. That means he bilked people out of thousands of dollars that he received goods & services for, that is not good business. His reputation was already tarnished. Not to mention, he a self-proclaimed sexual predator, grabbing women’s lady parts and kissing them without their permission.

What are you apologizing for? No need to do so. I listen to Steve Harvey and he hasn’t said a word for or against his actions. Carol, how do you know he was played like a foil? Were you there?

I wish I knew how Coon Steve feels after rollin up there to talk to him at Trump Towers. I don’t listen to his show but I’d love to know if he’s expressed any remorse for allowing himself to be played like a fool!

Steve is an idiot and the way he treated his talk show staff was dirty, gritty, and grimy, he rolled in the dirt with the orange one and now he is in the same category. I stopped drinking that cool-aid the moment he accepted the invitation to have a photo op for trump. He had nothing to offer, he should have taken intelligent people who could better relate to the people who need help the most. And then this arrogant SOB (SH) said, he doesn’t know why people are mad, he don’t need no housing he did it for them. Please! Did WHAT for them?
