Comedian Damien Lemon (Guy Code, The Amazing Spider Man) will be at the Arlington Improv this weekend, but before he takes the stage he talks to the Tom Joyner Morning Show about what is off-limits on stage and how going from working at a magazine helped jump-start his career into comedy.
Is anything off-limits on stage?
“I don’t know if anything is off-limits. If it’s not funny I stay away from it.”
On going from Journalism to comedy:
“I got let go from VIBE. That was the recession. I was on my way out so this was a great transition.”
