Paris Jackson‘s new boyfriend Michael Snoddy is starting trouble in her life after reports surfaced that he has a Confederate flag tattoo.
According to Page Six, the 26-year-old says the tattoo is about southern pride, he reportedly explained, “There’s a difference between Southern pride and racism.”
The couple has only been together for a short period of time but that hasn’t stopped MJ’s daughter from sharing snaps of the drummer on her Instagram.

A photo of the specific tattoo hasn’t surfaced but here is a photo of Snoddy wearing a shirt adorned with the controversial flag.

Paris has not commented on the controversy.
