An 18-year-old Michigan native is going viral after he was recorded performing South Korean pianist Yiruma’s “River Flows in You” in of all places… the mall.
Buzzfeed reports Monntel West was waiting for a friend at the mall when he came across an empty piano and began giving mall passersby a beautiful treat.

According to reports, West told the Lansing State Journal that he is self-taught and plans to study music management in college but that his parents couldn’t afford a piano or to give him lessons.
“Everybody has those hidden talents and hidden abilities,” he said. “Hopefully this shows people to not be afraid to show them.”
What’s even more amazing – West played the song while listening to another song on his headphones!
