3. Folliculitis 

More commonly found in the armpit and groin areas, folliculitis causes inflammed bumps around hair follicles on the skin. When bacteria gets into the hair follicle it causes a reaction. It’s important to keep these areas clean so that the condition can clear up as quickly as possible.

4. Staph Infection 

This is often contracted from community areas such as a gym, bathroom and healthcare facilities. According to Dr. Bronfin, if the Staph goes untreated for too long, “the bacteria will  invade deeper into your body, entering your bloodstream, joints, bones, lungs or heart.
