After many years of riding solo without a product to promote, Allen Iverson is back in the game of endorsements.
TMZ Sports reports the 39-year-old former NBA all-star signed a multi-year contract with Stance to be a spokesperson alongside current NBA stars Dwayne Wade, Klay Thompson, Chandler Parsons and Andre Drummond. A rep for the sock company voiced Stance’s joy in having Iverson, telling TMZ, “We’re excited to welcome Allen Iverson to the Stance family, and we look forward to working closely with him.”
Iverson’s deal with Stance comes amid the athlete’s resurgence in the public eye with appearances on morning shows and promoting a new documentary. During his NBA heyday, Iverson was one of the most marketable stars around with various deals before falling on hard times with spending much of the money he made as a star player in the league.
