Jennifer Hudson graced the stage at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood where she performed I Can’t Let Go at the 87th Annual Academy Awards ceremony. Jennifer, who won an Oscar in 2006 for her film debut in Dreamgirls, was just one of the night’s musical performers which included numbers by John Legend and Common, Lady Gaga, Rita Orr, Adam Levine and others. Before singing the song, Jennifer stated:
This is for all the people who shared their talents and lives with us. We are forever changed.
Jennifer’s performance came after the Academy paid tribute to actors, directors, and crew members who passed away in 2014 and this year. Watch the performance below.
