In a bizarre scene that unfolded on video, police in Philadelphia, Pa., are searching for a man who reportedly stabbed a McDonald’s employee after arguing over closing time, CBS Philly reports.

The incident began about 11 p.m. on Nov. 3 at a McDonald’s on Grays Ferry Ave. in Philadelphia when a customer became irate when he was asked to leave because the store was closing. He had been dining with a companion and it was unclear how long they had been seated.

CBS Philly reports:

The suspect then followed one of the employees outside and continued to argue.

When the employee began to walk away from the suspect, the suspect stabbed the employee in the back and then chased him through the parking lot.

The unidentified employee was treated at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and released. Police are still searching for the suspect, who ran away from the scene.
