Anyone who’s familiar with TV host and former Navy vet Montel Williams, knows he’s 100 percent all in for military veterans. End of story.

Well, TMZ caught up with him yesterday and asked him his thoughts on the recent Veterans Administration scandal/crises.

He responded by becoming quite animated and called out President Obama for failing to respond to his petition to fix the VA hospital crisis.

“I issued a petition and I’m waiting for the White House to respond,” said Williams. “I got 100,000 people around the country, I think, tweeting the president saying respond to me and he hasn’t responded. And it’s not about me. It’s about the veterans, Fix the problem(!) I don’t care if he ever speaks to me.”

When asked by the TMZ camera guy what he would say to Obama if he got the chance, Williams’ answer was quite terse and to the point:

“Sign the papers homeboy!”

Who the hell he think he is talking too? you all know he is smoking pot and has always been rude He needs to sit his ass down and keep smoking the pot. He is just like the rest of them disrespectful to our President, he didn’t say any thing when Bush ass was in office.

  2. Jazzdancer on said:

Montel has always been an asshole that main focus is white audiences. His calling the president homeboy is like a white person doing that. Words but little meaning and no sincerity.

  3. Kimberley on said:

Dang, Montel. How many tweets do you think the president receives everyday. You are not the only US Citizen who tweets. This mess with the Va Clinics, just didn’t start yesterday, it has been going on, but just so happens to have surfaced now that President (to you) Obama is in office, like other issues, as you should know. So where were you when Bush was in office taking about some damn “weapons of Mass Destruction” that were never found. Just shut up, and only speak if you can contribute something positive.

Montel is not only a jackass but a complete loser, just like his petition. If he had only 100,000 signature? Yet there are 334 million Americans…So the majority do not care and the fact that every Veteran Aids that has come across Congress have been voted down by Congress….So Montell and his 100,000 should start there as that is where the hold up is…Montell a man reduced to pushing payday loans for a living…cannot get any lower than that…However, Montell the Congress did do something about payday loans to military…They cannot do it, its illegal. I cannot believe a grown ass man like Montell uses such a word a homeboy….Clear sign of someone who is ghetto and ignorant, so any manners is totally out of the question.

Montel is always going to be an ass when he is not in the spot light. He is not the only person that wants things to change for the better for all vets. He is not a friend of the president and to be disrespectful like so many of his white counterparts is really sickening. He is still low on the pole.

  6. Youlanda on said:

Montel and the President are not old friends. So I say to you Montel address him the next time as President Obama or Mr. President. Either is fine with me. Don’t be a jerk.

Mont-hell Williams is a complete IDIOT and HATER! It’s like many of you asked, where was he during both Bush’s administration? You didn’t see him anywhere but I will tell you where he was….ROBBING American and Veteran families from that “money mutual” scam! He is very disrespectful to President Obama only when the camera is in front of him. Mont-hell, be a part of the solution; not the problem and stop hating and acting like “hell” because you will end up in Hell, Mont-hell. Fake “A” idiot!

  8. Brotherbrooks on said:

Can you really take serious a man who’s frequent guest on his defunct show was a debunked “psychic”, Sylvia Brown.

  9. Money Mutual Montel is out of line here, but I do understand his passion. The POTUS should make this VA situation a priority- especially over any LGBT and illegal alien agenda.

    • I said it. on said:

Amen. The issues you mentioned have become the focus for his last term in office. It’s not what I had in mind when I cast my vote.

Everybody want something to be a priority. trust me, if the President could wave a magic wand and clear up ALL of our issues from healthcare, to jobs, to immigration, don’t you think he would have done so by now? It’s amazing to me how everyone is weighing in o what he should do, not doing, not doing enough of, or shoulda, coulda, woulda, yada, yada, yada, when NO ONE has a clue what it’s like to be in his shoes. Most people would literally vomit if they had to face what he does on a daily basis. It’s easy to stand on the sidelines, or sit in the crowd, and shout out demands and suggestions, but until you actually walk in his shoes and understand the enormous pressure he’s feeling, and has been feeling the past 6 years, then you cannot say what he should make a priority. It’s not like he’s clocking in everyday to a regular 9 to 5 job when everything is nice and predictable. Hell, he could be called in the middle of the night with the news that idiot in Korea has just launched a nuclear missile. Montell needs to have SEVERAL seats. It’s not like the VA situation is recent news. People are working on it, and it’s going to take a lot longer than a couple of days to get this mess straightened out, especially since we should all have sense enough to know the problem did not begin on Obama’s watch.

Wow folks want first class attention since Barak is in office but didn’t demand anything out of the Bushes. They knew better. How much of his payday loan money has he given to the veterans. MY bad they are the main ones taking Veterans money.

  11. CeeCee on said:

Montel just wanted somebody to know that he’s still around, and we all know the best way to feel relevant and alive is to attack President Obama. He knew there’d be press about his utter disrespect. Montel will do anything for a buck-we all know it.

  12. Mark on said:

Montel proves himself to be lacking when he fails to show respect for someone of President Obama’s stature. We should be able to expect more and better from Montel Williams. But he responds like any Negro on any street corner anywhere in America.

  13. pac4me on said:

Okay “Homeboy” Montel where was your petition when the POTUS wasn’t the POTUS. I am amazed that he and he alone is the blame for years and years of government mismanagement . I’m sure if fixing the VA was “the” only problem the Pres was faced with, he would have already done something about it – this problem didn’t begin in 2008 – it was there long before that date. As far as the disrespect, I think any time you call the president of the United States anything but Mr. President, you’re being disrespectful and that applies to any president, and not just President Obama. Of course, our president can “handle himself” and he has, but God, the world is watching the most powerful nation in the universe

    • Montel Williams makes part of his living extoling the virtues of payday lending. Enticing people who can least afford it into lending traps that could take them years to get out of. I’m with you pac4me. Why is he just now, at this late date going to bat for veterans? I wouldn’t trust him as far as I can throw him.

  14. Jzzyj1 on said:

I support our Vets and I understand and support Montel’s cause on behalf of our Vets, however, why again is 20+ years of US Gov mess is being placed on this one Man (not homeboy) to solve. I think that the steps that POTUS has put forth is a start to begin resolving the wrongs toward our VETS that have been ongoing for decades. Where was Montel’s petitions and demands during the Clinton and both Bush administrations???

  15. I don’t think Montel intended to be disrespectful but to honestly think his petition is the main thing of importance on the President list is just ridiculous.

  16. redbone1954 on said:

Wow it is great to be passionate about your cause and I understand that however the way you are addressing the leader of the this country is completey disrespectful and oh of course he has nothing else on his plate. I agree the VA situation is out of control and I also highly respect the men and women who fought and are still fighting for he freedoms we enjoy but there is a way to do anything and calling Barack Obama “homeboy” in my opinion is NOT the way get a grip Mr. Williams the squeaky wheel does get the grease but there is always a respectful way to do it.

  17. Linda on said:

    Montel needs to stfu!

How dare he disrespect our Prez with everything he has on his plate to deal with!!–

President Obama has selected someone new to be in charge of the VA so eventually things should get fixed.

The man that he chose previously was the CEO of Proctor and Gamble, so this man should know how a company should be run!!!

The Prez is not Montel or anybody’s homeboy!!!!!!–

Save that —t for the streets!!!!

  18. It’s hard to have a whole lot of reverence for a president who stands at the podium and say “stop all that hatin'”. In order to get respect, you have to give it. And as for getting a response from Obama, Montel may want to get ex gang bangin’ drug dealing thug, and the POTUS’s BFF Jay Z to ask his homeboy to answer. He just may get a call back. Nothing wrong with addressing Obama as homeboy. That’s what he acts like.

    • I said it. on said:

Now, I’m not saying that anymore than I’d say that Bush behaved like a backward hick. What I am saying is that these men are in the public eye and are politicians. Their position should be respected so that other countries will respect our country, but we can disagree with their policies and beliefs. We are in America. It’s what we do.

When I was growing up, a homeboy was someone from your hometown. If he would use it with anyone, regardless of race, then it’s okay. The president is a big boy. He can handle himself. Our focus should be to continue the things that are working for the country and speak against those things that aren’t. At the end of the day he is a politician and has to be monitored and critiqued like all politicians before him. Any politician worth their salt knows it’s part of the game.

    • Kay, you seem to have a problem with PRESIDENT Obama because he’s an educated black man. I can see and hear it all up in your ignorant post. You say that you have to give respect in order to receive it, but when has the President ever disrespected you?? Then on top of that, you get up on your high horse and throw out trivial comments (while slandering Jay Z) about the POTUS being best friend with an ex drug dealing gangbanger. You don’t personally KNOW the President so why would you make such an asinine statement?? It’s probably because you’re just like one of those people the President was talking about…a HATER and a racist one at that but get over yourself Kay, because he’s (The POTUS) is not going anywhere at least for the next two years!

      • I don’t have a problem with President Obama. I like him. And as for slandering Jay Z, I did no such thing. He was a gang banging drug dealer and Obama himself described him and Bouncy as two of his best friends. You may not like what I said or how I said it, but a thing can only be what it is.

    • Kay, I have to apologize to you. I’m not to proud to admit when I’m wrong and I was wrong for the way I came off. I get so tired of people dogging our current president and I believe that I took what you said the wrong way. I know that everyone is not going to be in agreement with each move that the POTUS makes, but at least, we could agree to disagree. So again, forgive me for my crass comment and have a great day.

  19. I said it. on said:

Everything is not disrespectful. We can’t be hypocrites. I cannot think of one president something was said about. Homeboy is not a derrogative term.

    • Pallas on said:

Well I guess you haven’t been paying attention. President Obama has been disrespected many times during his presidency. It started when he was heckled during his first state of the union address. Montel knew that he was being recorded. Calling any president Homeboy while speaking publicly is disrespectful. Has Montel used has celebrity to help veterans or the multiple sclerosis community? No, he only does commercials and infomercials to make a buck.
