Ever since Chris Brown‘s release from prison last month we’ve been patiently waiting to see which industry event he’d make his first appearance at.
Besides a few studio sessions posted on social media and the surprise party his girlfriend Karrueche threw him, we still haven’t seen him out and about.
Well, all that just might change this weekend.
The BET Awards air live this Sunday in Los Angeles, where both Chris and Karrueche live.
Even though the network has remained mum about an appearance or even performance by Brown, Karrueche snatched up a hosting gig for BET.com.
She posted a photo of her doing promo’s for the upcoming awards with the caption:

Could this be part of an exchange of some sort? It’s no secret that we’ve seen a lot more of the singer’s famous girlfriend in national ad campaigns. A move that has to be fueled by Chris’ Karrueche’s team.
If BET did offer her the role as host, just to get Chris Brown, it’d be a smart idea.
