They’re back. Tasha Smith and Michael Jai White reprise their roles as battling couple Angela and Marcus in the third season of “For Better or Worse” which heads to the OWN Network on September 18 at 9 p.m. Season 2 ended on a cliffhanger, but Smith says you won’t get her to tell what happens.
“That daggone Joseph got into his little accident on the day of Leslie’s wedding and now Ms. Thing is at the hospital and we don’t know if he’s going to live or die,” Smith told the Tom Joyner Morning Show. “And I’m not telling nobody.”
Smith says the move to OWN has been a boon to the show and that she’s excited about being part of the OWN family. Smith is also excited about her acting school, the Tasha Smith Acting School, headquartered in Los Angeles. She’s bringing her expertise to Atlanta in October for a special two-day seminar.
“You know it’s doing real good and I’m so excited we’re coming to Atlanta on October 5 and 6 and I love teaching acting. I love teaching acting as much as I love doing acting. It’s two days – ten hours a day – it’s boot camp, baby.”

For a testimonial, you have to look no further than Jay Anthony Brown, a Smith client, now mounting an all-out takeover of “The Ricky Smiley Show.”
“He took it and ran with it and he’s doing his thing,” says Smith. “that’s how you do it -that old school know how to come in and show those youngsters how to do it. I’m not mad at you!”
