When DMX got busted last week in South Carolina for driving without a license, dash-cam video showed – and he confirmed when asked by the state trooper what kind of car he was driving – an old beat up 1978 Plymouth station wagon.
It’s obvious DMX has fallen on some hard times. Now, according to his publicist, Domenick Nati, the down-on-his-luck rapper has filed for bankruptcy.
Below is the statement about DMX’s bankruptcy filing:
“DMX’s financial strains have been inhibiting his career for several years. Poor financial management by prior representation have caused him to be ineligible to retain a passport. The purpose of this bankruptcy filing is for reorganization so he can perform for his fans oversees. We are currently planning a tour in Europe and Africa for the fall of 2013.”
