bill_cosby1While Bill Cosby is quick to criticize Black people at any given opportunity, without the slightest bit of provocation, he refused to call killer George Zimmerman racist in an interview on DomNnate Radio Show, reports the Orlando Sentinel.

“This racial stuff goes into a whole bunch of discussion which has stuff that you can’t prove,” Cosby said in an interview Tuesday. “You can’t prove somebody is a racist unless they really come out and do the act and is found to be that.”

Apparently, in Cosby Land, profiling, stalking, menacing, attacking and ultimately fatally shooting a Black child in the heart because he’s Black and wearing a hoodie — so he must be a criminal — doesn’t qualify as being racist.

Cosby said that the issue was simple: “the prosecution didn’t tell their story well, and they lost.”

In a weird twist, Cosby claimed that he didn’t pay much attention to the trial because Casey Anthony was found guilty in the court of public opinion, but turned out to be “not guilty” in the eyes of the law.

”I found the media were jumping and had this woman guilty,” Cosby said. “I will never pay attention to information given to me by TV, radio or whatever about a high-profile case until the jury says what it says.”

Though Cosby agreed that ‘Stand Your Ground’ laws are “getting out of line,” he ignored all evidence that proves the racially discriminatory nature of the laws and said that we shouldn’t even explore that narrative:

“Let’s not go into a racial discussion unless we really have something there,” he said.

Considering that Cosby’s only son, Ennis Cosby, was a victim of gun violence, one would think that he would express more concern. But maybe his trust in the judicial system is a direct correlation with his views on the decay in Black America

  1. I found nothing wrong with what he was saying. He wasn’t going against Black people at all. He was stating the facts of what the justice system looks at in this country. If the prosecution did the job right of proving racial intent, then Zimmerman would be convicted.

  2. We all love and respect Bill Cosby, however, he’s like that member of the family, that says whatever he wants. He is old now and he might be losing his mind a little, it happens to the best of us. We pray that the family starts to watch our beloved Cosby. It happens people, just say “Bless his heart”.

say what you want about Bill, and most of you are, he’s usually right on point about the self-destructive nature of our people. I don’t have a problem with him when he calls someone out for acting a fool. don’t necessarily agree with him about Zimmerman not being a racist, but don’t act like he doesn’t care about his own race. that’s exactly why he speaks up when he does.

Bill Cosby is all of what people are saying about him, an idiot who’s protecting himself from whatever. I don’t understand him, he’s old as dirt and at this point shouldn’t be afraid, but, that’s what racism does to you. He makes me sick!

Two words that prove that George Zimmerman is a racist———*F$3@ning Coon” He did utter those very words before killing Trayvon Martin. And once the DOJ examines the audio and finds that he did, Federal hate charges should follow!

Bill Cosby is our modern-day “Step-n-Fetchit” He loves to please white folk and too often, does not emphatize with Black people. Like racist white folk, he ignores the history of the all the pain and struggle that Black people have had to endure in America. Bill Cosby does not acknowledge that racism exists just like the racist want him to. Racist white folk love to put Bill Cosby up as an example of the “right kind of negroe” I will say that I am hard on white folk because I know the hatred that they harbor in their hearts for Black people. I urge my brothers and sisters to be as hard on whites in this society as they are on us. Until they feel our wrath, they will just casually ignore us.

Bill Cosby is too busy drugging and raping women, then paying for the stories to go away. So he is as fake as a 3 dollar bill, with his educated, self loathing self. His opinions are always self-serving at best.

Mr. Cosby did NOT say that he didn’t think George Zimmerman IS racist. He said that you cannot prove it. Even if you prove it, what law has been broken? How can you prove that the law has been broken? This is the challenge. The prosecution did NOT tell their story well. Their argument should have been about Trayvon’s rights, not whether or not Zimmerman is racist. Of course, he is racist! Again, you cannot convict people on that alone. You are choosing to focus in on the negative: where you don’t agree with Mr. Cosby. Why not focus on the positive: where you DO agree. Whether you want to admit it or not, me, you, and Mr. Cosby are fundamentally on the same side of the race argument as it pertains to Black America. I think that side sounds something like this: Racism exists everday and it is immoral. It has become a perpetual road block to solidarity and justice for the collective Black Community in America. I’m pretty sure that Mr. Cosby was hoping for justice for Trayvon Martin the same as you and I. Racism is what it is and it will rage on. Next step in this algorithm please? Also, I think Mr. Cosby deserves a little bit more respect than what he was given in this article. He’s not perfect, but who is? In the meantime, let’s stop dogging each other out when we don’t agree on everything and come together on the things we do agree on. Let’s make it happen!

  11. Cosby, is the Clarence Thomas of Black activism, he believes what he believes, and be damn if anybody black ever gave him some advice that was worth something, unless it was from Heathcliff Huxtable Himself…..Cosby is not a friend to people like Trayvon Martin, as a matter of fact, aren’t people like Trayvon the very people he complains about on blog commentary…..Old folk like Cosby, who don’t have to be in the hood, or in a gated community where whites and blacks coexist, don’t see racism through the eyes he would have 35-40 years ago……sure racism exist but not in his world, and trust me, he won’t be quick to call any white man racist, if he wants to keep seeing those paychecks……

  12. COSBY, the enigma, at his best.
These are the most stupid remarks I have ever heard from a supposedly PHD in Education holder.
Can someone educate this joker on racial discord in America?
    NUFF Said!!!

I find his statement interesting since I recall Camille Cosby stating in an article I read that racisim is what killed her son.
