The Secret Service don’t play that!

Donte Jamar Sims, a 22-year-old man from North Carolina, has been sentenced to six months in prision for tweeting threats to President Obama during the 2012 Democratic National Convention.

According to reports, the Charlotte native said he was high on marijuana when he wrote “Ima Assassinate president Obama this evening!” and “The Secret Service is gonna be defenseless once I aim the Assault Rifle at Barack’s Forehead.”

Sims plead guilty to “plotting President Obama’s murder” and a federal judge convicted him of one count of knowingly and willfully making a threat to take the life of the president.
