With a guaranteed $1 million check for the sixth season of “Real Housewives of Atlanta,” NeNe Leakes is Bravo’s highest paid housewife. But, sometimes it’s best to keep the number of zeros on your paycheck to yourself, and the network is learning that the hard way.
According to reports, fellow ATL housewife Kenya Moore and all six castmates of the “Real Housewives of New York City” are refusing to resign their contracts until they get a big, fat raise.
Moore is currently in contract negotiations with network. TMZ reports she will only sign on for the show’s upcoming season if her check is gone-with-the-wind fabulous.
The ladies of NYC banded together for the same reason. LuAnn de Lesseps, Carole Radziwill, Aviva Drescher, Ramona Singer, Sonja Morgan and Heather Thomson are schedule to begin production next week but they are all unhappy with their offers. According to reports, they are threading to quit show if Bravo doesnt raise their salaries and bonuses — fast!
The cast members currently earn an average of $65,000 per season.
