Jacque Reid talks to Ava DuVernay, the Director of the critically acclaimed ‘Selma’. DuVernay recently made headlines becoming the first African American to be nominated as a Director at the 2015 Golden Globes.
On sharing the news to Oprah:
“She asked me ‘how did we do’. I told her very well. You could hear the smile in her voice and she did a little dance,” DuVernay said.
