Beyoncé sings about society’s pressure to be thin and pretty in her song “Pretty Hurts”.

The lyrics point out how our culture, including the media, put a lot of pressure on women to be perfect. She mentions how “Vogue says, ‘Thinner is better'” and in the chorus, she concedes “pretty hurts”, before singing, “we shine the light on whatever’s worst. Perfection is a disease of a nation”. Finally, adding “It’s the soul that needs the surgery.”

Well if today’s Queen Bey buzz is indeed true, Mrs. Carter (or her camp) might still be struggling with not succumbing to the need-to-be-extra-thin pressure.

Why? The Houston native is being accused [again] of editing her thighs on a personal vacation photo so they can appear thinner and to have a wider “thigh gap”. In the photo, Bey shows off her banging body while posing in a printed bikini on the steps of her yacht. Everything looks perfect in the picture but some believe the stairs look a bit tilted near her inner thighs.

One fan on Twitter, tweeted: “Oh @Beyonce please stop photo shopping your thighs. Young girls do not need a role model like that! We ♥️ your thighs. #Beyonce.”
