Here’s your first look at the new panel for “The View” – together for the first time.
Us Magazine posted behind the scenes footage of veterans Rosie O’Donnell and Whoopi Goldberg in their first photo shoot with newbies Rosie Perez and Nicolle Wallace.
They look nice and cozy now – but when politics hit the Hot Topics table, there’s no telling how feisty actress Perez, ultra-liberal O’Donnell, “I’m-through-with-all-of-yall” Goldberg and conservative commentator Wallace will react.
“I am beyond thrilled, honored and completely surprised that I’ve been asked to join ‘The View,’” Perez told Us Weekly in a statement following her Sept. 4 co-host appointment.
“Knowing that I’ll be in the company of Whoopi, Rosie and Nicolle, three very smart and engaging women that I have an immense amount of respect for, makes it even more unbelievable.”
Beginning Monday, Sept. 15, Perez and Wallace will take over the co-host chairs left vacant by Sherri Shepherd and Jenny McCarthy, who abruptly left the series in June.
