Incorporate active movement daily

Weight loss is facilitated by being active to get the body moving and producing energy that will burn fat and build muscle.  If working out is new to you, begin by taking a daily walk at a rigorous pace and pumping your arms in stride.  If your schedule is too busy to make the time for a walk, begin by taking a walk around the building during a lunch break or opt to walk to places that are close to your home instead of driving.

Lower sugar intake

Sugar packs on the pounds quickly, creating a type of fat that can be hard to burn off.  Jump start weight loss by cutting back on refined sugar snacks, sweet dairy products and alcohol that converts to sugar once it’s processed in the body.  Weight will begin fall off naturally using this step alone.
