Dr. Robin Daniel attended the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario for his undergraduate studies, then transferred to Howard University College of Dentistry in 1977, graduating with a D.D.S. in 1981, followed immediately with a post-graduate degree in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from Howard University Hospital and the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Washington D.C.

After graduation, Daniel was hired to coordinate the undergraduate dental program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Meharry Medical College. In 1992, along with Dr. C. Ray Bennett, he established a post-graduate program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Meharry Medical College.

Daniel went into full time private practice in 1998, and is CEO of Dream Team Oral Surgery and Implant Center in Nashville, Tennessee. He is active with the residency program at Meharry and heads a mentoring program in his private practice known as the A Dream Team, which enjoys an 80% placement record for students into postgraduate specialty programs around the country.

He spent six years on the Board of Trustees of the National Dental Association (NDA) and is a NDA Past President. He is a member of the NDA, ADA, TDA, AAOMS, ACOMS, TSOMS, Pan Tennessee Dental Association, Capital City Dental Association, Hispanic Dental Association and the International College of Oral Implantology.

Dr. Daniel is also a forensic expert and is a Diplomat of the American Board of Forensic Dentistry and the American Board of Forensic Examiners. He is a single father of two children, Robbyn and Jason.
