15-year-old Davion Navar Henry stood in front of his church audience and asked for a family to adopt him.  Two weeks later the church has been bombarded with calls asking to do just that.

The Tampa Bay Times reports the teen asked the crowd, “I’ll take anyone. Old or young, dad or mom, black, white, purple. I don’t care. And I would be really appreciative. The best I could be.”

Henry, who has been in the foster care system since birth, made the speech two weeks ago but since then the church has received many phone calls inquiring about his adoption which have been forwarded to his adoption agency.

So far, he has not found a home.
