“Baggage Claim” opens in theaters today and while Paula Patton is the movie’s star, Jill Scott as her best girlfriend Gail steals every scene she’s in. With her impressive cleavage and comic timing, Scott takes off in the role while playing off a supporting cast of popular Black actors – and Adam Brody from “The O.C.”

It’s a frothy date movie for sure, but that doesn’t make it any less fun. Patton plays Montana Moore, a flight attendant who needs a fiancée quickly to appease her overbearing mother. Her friends on the flight crew suggest that she try finding her exes as they fly across the country, which is played to comedic effect.

“David E. Talbert wrote such a great script and we’re the paint colors,” Scott told the Tom Joyner Morning Show. “There’s so much eye candy in this movie like Boris Kodjoe, Djimon Hounsou, Trey Songz and Derek Luke. There are some that we do know and some that we want to.”

Scott, who is also starring on the upcoming CBS drama “Second Sight” with Luke, says her own love life is just fine these days. Once married to Lyzel Williams, who inspired the love song “Lyzel in E Flat,” Scott then had a now 4-year-old son, Jett, with drummer John Roberts, but she hasn’t gone public with her latest relationship.

“I’m great, thank you,” Scott says. “I’m cooking for my man and my son and my friends whenever I get a little time these days.”
