Brian Banks, Exonerated of Rape in 2012, Finally Plays in an NFL Game

Brian Banks whose football career was thrown off track more than a decade ago by a false accusation of rape has finally played in his first NFL game.
Banks tweeted his excitement prior to the game against the Cincinatti Bengals, he wrote:
“Game Day. Never thought this day would come. And if it all ended here tonight… Mom, I did it. #dreamchaser.”
Banks entered the game in fourth quarter as a middle linebacker for the Atlanta Falcons. He recorded one tackle.
Banks is trying to make the Falcons’ 53-man roster.
