Rev. Jesse Jackson, a primary figure in the civil rights movement, has sadly died after a lengthy post-pandemic health battle. He was 84.

According to a health update from the couple's son Jonathan, Rev. Jesse Jackson is recovering swiftly from his positive coronavirus diagnosis but unfortunately saw his Parkinson's take a drastic turn for the worse. Meanwhile, Mrs. Jackson is unfortunately still in ICU fighting her battle with COVID-19.
