In case you aren't familiar, 26-year-old chart-topping singer Queen Naija is one of the most promising acts in R&B to debut over the past five years. Also in case you're weren't aware, she's one of the most hated people on all of Twitter for doing absolutely nothing.

Thandiwe Newton recently expressed an internalized guilt she's felt as an A-list Black actress in Hollywood with lighter skin that admittedly has been shown privilege compared to her dark-skinned counterparts. 

While some saw the February 2022 cover of 'British Vogue' featuring a cast of all-African models as revolutionary, others felt the creative direction downplayed the cover stars natural features by muting out their skin tones and putting wigs on their heads that hid the real texture of their hair.
