Oprah famously interview Michael Jackson at his estate in 1993. They laughed, they smiled, he charmed us with his moonwalk. Fast-forward to today and she’s being slammed for interviewing the alleged survivors of Leaving Neverland.

Comedienne Mo’nique particularly had a problem with Oprah’s interview and questioned if she did it for ratings?

“Here’s a man that was found not guilty in the eyes of the law,” Mo said during the broadcast with her husband Sidney Hicks. “And you wait for 10 years after this man was deceased, to now do an interview with people who said they lied.”

She added,

“For me, it’s sad and disheartening. That man welcomed you in his home. And you spoke of how beautiful, and all the love this man has shown children all over the world.”

Clearly Mo isn’t letting up in Oprah anytime soon.

“When we’re calling someone a molester and they’re no longer here… Michael Jackson is not here to defend himself, which is a major problem. [He was] found not guilty… then you come back and you allow these two men to get on your platform and tell this story, and that man cannot defend himself, who does that?”

What say you? Was Oprah in the right or the wrong?

I have a different take on these black celebs that get taken down for these accusations and crimes. As a black person myself blacks need to take responsibility for their issues they get their money an profile and surround themselves with white people thinking they are somehow better and more appealing to their lives. Look at o j , Bill, m j who is the common denominator. No one wants to see what these high profile blacks do. Then when stuff goes down we are the first ones defending them. Not me.

But see God does not like ugly and he is not too fond of cute; the LN doc was a FLOP for HBO an Oprah ratings 780 was a FLOP as well for OWN. And more dirt to be reveal about these liars. Even Conservative talk radio are calling these liars out today. Wow.

And according to Nelson, LN was more promoted than any other show or doc this year yet it FLOPED big time for HBO. People overall are tired of this trash on MJ but the media want to push the narrative to get ratings and they are mad that fans and fair minded people are spreading the word about these liars. This is about truth and fairness no matter who it is. As one conservative said, “if we follow these guys, we might as well throw our system out the window. too many lies use for shock value and inconsistency”. I see where Oprah has now moved them from her site. You think.

  3. I agree with Amber she had a hand picked audience and that is not a fair judgement of the issues at hand. He won this in court and they, the two accusers, said he didn’t molest them, now they said they were protecting him. That is a load of crap. They should have confronted him while he was alive. Also he did do Oprah a favor, she knew it was feather in her cap to interview him otherwise she would not have done it. If you’re hand picking the audience you already know the outcome it’s like fixing fight, you can bet on the winner because you know whom it will be. the FIX is in!

Oprah will you interview Harvey winstines victims, will you interview those girls at ur south African school and by the way,the accuser was not guilty.Oprah is not a friend of the black community, like paul mooney said. She,s aunt jemima with a degree.

Why? Oprah was doing her job. Michael agreed to an interview with Oprah when he was under attack. He didn’t do Oprah any favors. It was mutually beneficial. It humanized his weird eccentric behind and it definitely boosted her visibility. I love Mo, but she will never be Oprah sitting around complaining about her. She can use her internet platform and do things differently. These men might be lying, but you can’t get around Michael allowing and sleeping in the same bed with these random white boys. You can talk about it til you red in the face, but it wasn’t right then and I don’t care how dry his bones are, “it ain’t right now.” Those parents might have pumped their kids, but Michael didn’t have to be “Mr. Kraft.”

She went wrong in putting them in front of a group of so called victims. This is like us putting Jussie Smollett on stage to talk at an NAACP gathering for racial injustice. She was WRONG. If she did it all by themselves, it would not be a problem but then she better get the other side. And worst, Oprah who is buddy to HARVEY WEINSTEIN and who has a doc out as well at the same place (they pushed the Leaving Neveland doc but not the “untouchable” about Weinstein. Some even suggest she did it to get the attention off of Weinstein. I can believe it).

And I agree MJ put himself in a position to be used (he realize that later but he tried to make people happy and he could not say no to people. This was even proven in court.) but it is wrong to accused him of child abuse. This what some people and you do not have to be rich and famous either. Did you know these families would call MJ even when MJ was busy to try to get things and favors? the nanny is now telling everyone Wade was wanting to get married at Neverland but they told him no. Was that in the doc, NO. It does not fit the narrative the media or that lying director want. But it all is going to come out.

She was wrong. She did it for ratings. If it wasn’t for the TV show “Haves/Haves Not” her network would be tanking and folding

I can say that I’ve have lost a lot of respect for Oprah. Why would you even entertain this? My heart goes out to his mother Katherine. She will not be here that long and the last memory will be the white man still trying to crucify her baby. Please, Michael flesh was miserable on earth, Let his SOUL REST IN PEACE

Monique is right on this one. Most people are too afraid of Oprah’s power to speak out. The man is gone and cannot defend himself. Oprah should have known better. Is OWN in trouble?

What Oprah did was wrong. She did NOT get both sides yet she put these two liars in front of suppose to be victims. These guys did this doc to poison the public in hopes to win a court appeal law suit this summer. they lost 2 in 2015 and 2018. They defended MJ for over 20 years and never gave the impression they were coached to lie about being abused. It was until 2013 when Wade did not get the job to do a MICHAEL JACKSON SHOW, he fliped. Then he got James and they have the same lawyer.

  10. Amber on said:

She was correct. Oprah does not know these guys who are proven liars (I saw Wade testify in 2005 and there was nothing about him that showed he covering up. And why would MJ call him KNOWING he had to face DA Ron Zonen who grilled Wade and Tom Sneddon. What people are upset is she put these guys in front of suppose to be victims as if she knew these guys were truthful. They have lied 3 times IN COURT until even the judge discipline them. They lost in 2015 and 2018 and hope this doc help get their court appeal of $100 million this summer. Oprah did not examine BOTH sides. That is a problem.

Oprah shouldn’t have done it, but why is Monique still going after Oprah? I agree, Oprah should have stayed out of that mess, but she doesn’t need to do anything for ratings.
