Sexual Assault Lawsuit On Russell Simmons Is Dismissed

Russell Simmons
A woman who came forward accusing Russell Simmons sexual assault has dismissed a lawsuit against him.
After claiming Simmons sexually assaulted her, Jennifer Jarosik sued the music mogul for millions according to TMZ. Court documents the lawsuit got dismissed with prejudice on April 25.
Usually, when a lawsuit gets dismissed on prejudice, it means that it cannot be refiled which is typically a sign of settlement.
The dismissal comes weeks after Simmons gave a searing response to the allegations in the lawsuit. He said that Jarosik sent him a text message containing photos of herself after the alleged assault. Court documents say that he believed she was out for his money.
