Netflix just got 10 times better because the Obama’s are reportedly striking a deal with the popular streaming service.
The New York Post reports that the former President and Michelle Obama are in talks with Netflix to produce exclusive programs that have the potential to stream to over 114 million viewers.
The deal has yet to be finalized and the amount of episodes hasn’t been decided yet but the anticipation for this partnership is high.
Sources close to the President say the shows have nothing to do with an opposition to the Trump administration or his own political views but simple storytelling.
Eric Schultz, the President’s former senior adviser explained, “President and Mrs. Obama have always believed in the power of storytelling to inspire.” He continued, “Throughout their lives, they have lifted up stories of people whose efforts to make a difference are quietly changing the world for the better.”
