Torry Story: Idris Elba’s Engagement Reminds Guy Of His Engagement
2/12/18- Idris Elba getting engaged reminds Guy Torry of the time that he proposed to his then girlfriend back in 2001. He tricked her by saying he had tickets to the 2001 NBA finals to get her to come to L.A. He actually proposed to her live on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno. Everything went well until she found out she wasn’t getting to go to the game. Torry said he should have known it wasn’t going to work out!
