A JetBlue flight was forced to turn around at after a man began biting passengers on board.

The New York Daily News, reports the flight left New York and was heading to Los Angeles when they had to land in Las Vegas. Police got on board and arrested the man.

Passengers recall the problem starting when they were flying over Utah. Witnesses say the man began to biting the man sitting next to him who he believed he knew. He began hitting other passengers during the entire commotion.

Doctors who happened to be on the flight tried to help by taking a look at the man, but also got attacked. A passenger on board told CNS news that they stepped in to hold the man back from biting anyone else.

“I grabbed his hands behind his back and held him there while the flight attendants put the restraints on him,” said Tom the man that spoke with CBS news. “I really had a hell of a time keeping him in place there.”

JetBlue released a statement to CBS news explaining that the man had been taken off the flight upon landing while, “remaining customers resumed their scheduled flight to New York without further incident.”

What caused the man to get angry is unknown.
