‘Black’ Washington State NAACP Leader Is Really White, Parents Say

Nearly two years after she made headlines as a white woman pretending to be Black, former NAACP leader Rachel Dolezal says she is unable to find work, lives off food stamps and is close to being homeless.

Dolezal was outed in June 2015 when her parents, Larry and Ruthanne Dolezal, revealed that she was actually a white woman. The story made international headlines and Dolezal eventually admitted she was “biologically born white to white parents” but says she still identifies as Black since race is “not coded in your DNA.”

After losing her job as an adjunct instructor at Eastern Washington University, Rachel Dolezal unfortunately hasn’t been able to capitalize on the scandal. Dolezal says she’s been getting by on food stamps and loans from a friend to provide for her family, though next month she expects to be homeless.

The former professor told the Guardian she’s applied for more than 100 jobs, but no one will hire her because of the scandal. Despite changing her name on all legal documents, Dolezal is still recognized wherever she goes. The only offers on the table are for reality television and porn.

She added that her memoir “In Full Color,” which is due out in March, was rejected by 30 publisher before anyone agreed to print it.

Still, nothing has change in terms of Dolezal’s feelings about her race. When questioned about her racial identity, Dolezal says she would tell people that she was mixed, but she doesn’t feel it was a lie. “The times I tried to explain more, I wasn’t understood more. Nobody wanted to hear, ‘I’m pan-African, pro-black, bisexual, an artist, mother and educator,’” she told the Guardian. “People would just be like, ‘Huh? What? What are you talking about?’

“So I felt like by not talking about my biological ancestry, I gave people the opportunity to relate to me as an individual, not part of a group.”

Alrighty, then.

I say she is no different than a man who identifies as a woman…if we can accept that foolishness then why not her?????????

  2. and for once I agree with you black beasts. F the white trash who pretended to be black. Yet once again you beasts show your racism and hatred of whites? You can’t really think whites are that stupid to not see behind your beast mentality can you?

    • Oh I am so sorry you feel that way about people of color. Someone really got your mind messed up. Poor baby . I feel so sorry for you. Bless your heart.Baby if people would have treated your ancestors like we were treated how would you feel ?

  3. Sometimes you have to start from the bottom, when you started your career on lies. There nothing wrong with the five figure jobs, at least you will be working. Black people would have excepted you for who you are if you didn’t lie. Now she has to build her character back

  4. she may not get the 6 figures she has been use to but there are jobs out there that would keep her from becoming homeless which at this point has nothing to do with her pride after posting this

    • She will never know what it is to be black. As it was said and as she has done, she can get her white hair style back, leave her black kids home and do not let them go places with her, etc and she will be back white. And anyone who deny who they are in order to fit in with others is a disgrace and you can not trust. We do not like it when blacks try to be whites and deal less with blacks so why should this woman get a pass.

Well, she wanted to be Black didn’t she? Rejection and Long Suffering goes along with being Black! She’ll just have to do what the rest of us Black people have been doing since the beginning of time. . . . she’ll have to keep struggling and keep working hard; keep knocking on doors until one opens up; keep praying; keep the faith; until she reaches her goal. Technically, I really think someone is lying. Rachel REALLY looks like she has some Black blood SOMEWHERE in her family. . . ijs. Welcome to the Club, Rachel!!!
