Susan Taylor: ‘This Is Not The Rough Side Of The Mountain…We’ve Been Through Worse’

1/24/17- Jacque Reid goes Inside Her Story with Susan L Taylor, Founder and CEO of the National Cares Mentoring Movement and Editor-in-Chief Emerita of Essence Magazine, to talk about the status of our community since the election of Donald Trump.

“We need strategy. We don’t have a plan. We haven’t stood strongly together and sustained any movement since the Montgomery Boycott. We have to come together with a three or four point plan. I understand the pain and the depression…but get over it. We have the opportunity to really turn our ship around,” Taylor said.

  1. I looked at the bank draft which had said $7437 , I be certain …that…my friend could realie earning money in their spare time on-line. . there neighbor has done this for less than twelve months and resentlly paid the morgage on their mini mansion and got a great new Lancia . have a peek here….

  2. Where were THE WOMEN in the room FULL OF MEN when Trump signed the bill, or rolled back the ‘Abortion’ issue which I believe was in reference to Mexico. Next it will be in reference to women’s rights in the USA. This is 2017 and it’s waaaaay past time for men to STOP telling women what to do with their bodies. Side note: I get sooooooo tired of seeing male enhancement drug commercials every time you turn on the tv. Don’t get it twisted because I’m not at all rigid when it comes to sex LOVE IT! But what I’d like to know is what are the far far right religious nuts, and the conservatives saying about the commercials being shown constantly, and (some) people having to figure out how to explain the commercials to their YOUNG children?!?

  3. Yes we need to move along, and ahead. And, Trump the President needs to lead the way. But the thing is it appears that Trump, Kellyanne, and Spicer aren’t willing to do so. Both Spicer, and Kellyanne come across as menacing, and like they have a chip on their shoulders. No matter what one’s politics is….this is not what the country needs to constantly see because IT’S, DIVISIVE. In short….Trump has issues, and if I were on his staff I would get tired of trying to defend his BS

  4. Susan’s commentary was great. I’ve never lost my way, or let Trump’s election alter my life. While I do comment about Trump it’s in response to the outright ignorant things he says, and does, and how his constant divisive comments continue to divide the country.
