Jacque Reid goes Inside Her Story with Monalisa, a mother who voluntarily spent 60 days in jail to better understand what her daughter went through as she’s serves 10 years for armed robbery. Monalisa took part in this experience for A&E’s new reality series, 60 Days In.

“I thought I could survive it, because if my daughter could make it over three years and she still be somewhat sane, I could survive it. I just needed to know what was behind those bars,” Monalisa said.

  1. So right! I received the Duii for ruptured appendicitis that was gangrenous.
Lucky I didn’t die! Gave me anxiety policing society, & mental health with special attention to leadership roles in society.

I am so glad this is finally coming out. I am a parent of a daughter serving a life sentence after turning down a 5 year plea deal. Georgia has some crazy laws and life is 30 years. The system is not about helping to reform but only to make money of the backs of others.
