A Bronx, New York high school is celebrating the accomplishments of its graduating senior class and their potentially bright futures. All 64 graduates of Theater Arts Production High School are headed to college in the fall, WPIX-TV reports.
The icing on the graduation cake is that this small class of students also earned a total of $5.5 million in grants and scholarships to pay for their higher education.

A U.S. News & World Report analysis of Tapco (short for the Theatre Arts Production Company school) says the school is 99 percent minority and 99 percent economically disadvantaged—yet it has a higher graduation rate than other nearby public high schools: 76 percent compared to 60 percent.
Tapco’s principal, Ron Link, explained why his students are such high achievers to WPIX-TV:
“The key to our success is the collective work of our entire school community. It’s the parents, teachers, staff members, students, all the way down to the cafeteria workers and custodians. We all collectively worked toward the school’s success.”
At 8 years old, Tapco is one of the newest high schools within the nation’s largest school district. The students there are interested in either performing on stage, or working behind the scenes.
