Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs AKA The King of Harlem is giving back to his neighborhood in a major way.
Combs announced the Capital Preparatory Harlem Charter School will open this fall, THR reports. The school will be headed by Capital Prep leader Steve Perry, who is the founder of Capital Prep Magnet School in Hartford, Connecticut.
Combs and his board also hired Orlando-based educator Danita Jones as the principal of Capital Prep Harlem.
Combs said creating the school is a “dream come true.”
This is a great example of ‘to whom much is given, much is expected,” and Puff Daddy is delivering!
