Well isn’t this the sweetest thing.

Raven-Symone, who got her start on “The Cosby Show” at 4, gives acclaimed actress, choreographer and director Debbie Allen credit for helping her define success.

Symone shared this sentimental moment with AOL’s web series, “My Hero,” about her respect and admiration for Allen as an entertainer, businesswoman and mother.

“Ms. Debbie is my hero, because she always gives,” she said. “And to be able to express to Ms. Debbie what she does for me and my life, and what she does for me mentally when I go into the war zone that is Hollywood is really special…”

She added: “if I didn’t have Ms. Debbie in my life, I’d probably be trying to figure out, like, what could I do next.”

Nevertheless, Allen sees Symone as her own daughter. “Raven, she is like one of my kids,” the iconic “Fame” actress said.

Allen added, “I’m somewhere between her other mom and her aunt…because there is a trust there and you can’t manufacture that, you can’t make that.”
