NEW YORK (AP) — Donald Trump is welcoming Fox News Channel’s Megyn Kelly back from a vacation with a broadside of criticism, tweeting that he liked her show better when she was away.
The Republican presidential frontrunner-turned-TV-critic also said that Kelly “must have had a terrible vacation” because “she’s really off her game.” He also retweeted a message that referred to Kelly as a “bimbo.”
Trump has been attacking Kelly ever since her tough questioning of him during the first GOP presidential debate, seen by 24 million people on Fox on Aug. 6. Monday night was her first show back after being away.
Fox had no immediate response on Tuesday.
