Hip-hop’s latest crooner, Fetty Wap has managed to stay out of trouble during his meteoric rise to fame, but hit a snag Saturday night (Aug. 22) during a club appearance.
Rumors surfaced of Fetty Wap being confronted inside of D.C. Nightclub Stadium and MediaTakeout claimed he was jumped and had his chain snatched along with a few of his dreads. Fetty, the Paterson, NJ native, took to social media to tell his side of the story. He posted an Instagram video where he said, “I just heard that somebody pulled my fucking hair out and I got robbed. B-tch, where? Let me know. Let me know. Tell me. Please.”
The video also shows Fetty pointing as his dreads which appear to be fine. He than captioned the video, “@mediatakeout suck my d-ck.”
Otherwise, Fetty’s newfound fame has gone off without a hitch as he’s the first rapper in in 5 years to land three of his singles, “My Way,” “Trap Queen,” and “679,” on Billboard’s Top 20 chart. The last person to accomplish this was Eminem back in 2010.
He’s also giving back his community with a free concert for High Schoolers in his hometown on August 27.
