“My name and my mother’s association came up, they approached me and my sister, and we talked to Mom. She fell in love with it,” he said. “That got the ball rolling, and it’s been a great ride coming to this day. This women’s health pavilion is so all women can have the same care and medical experiences.”

“What better way than to support a future women’s pavilion at SSM St. Mary’s that will enhance health care for the St. Louis community?” Cedric added. “I’m committed to making ‘A Night with Cedric and Friends’ a signature event in my hometown of St. Louis.”

As part of the signature event festivities, Ms. Kyles spoke of being especially connected to the mission of the hospital, which states “Through our exceptional healthcare services, we reveal the healing presence of God.”

She is survived by her two children, five grandchildren as well as a host of family and friends.
