BALTIMORE (AP) — The state’s attorney in Baltimore says all six officers charged in the police-custody death of Freddie Gray have been indicted by a grand jury.

State’s Attorney Marilyn Mosby made the announcement Thursday. The charges returned by the grand jury were similar to the charges Mosby announced about three weeks ago.

Mosby has said Gray’s neck was broken because he was injured while being handcuffed, shackled and placed head-first into a police van. She says his pleas for medical attention were repeatedly ignored.

Gray was arrested April 12. He died in a hospital a week later and became a symbol of what protesters say was police brutality against blacks.

The criminals should be prosecuted. Next, CONVICTIONS. I wish Ms. Mosby and her team much success. With all the adversity it’s an uphill battle.

    • And when she loses that battle????? I can’t stop laughing how she threw some tidbits at all the police haters to stop the rioting but people really think this indictment will send police to jail. hahahahahahaha B more will be a disco inferno when a jury sets these officers freee….glad I moved out of Murdermore!!!

  3. Jhuf,

Stop trying to justify/scapegoat this situation. And while you’re at it, learn the difference between the words “their” and “they.”

And it is about time police officers get charged AND Convicted for “their” Crimes that they have been committing against black people for Decades!

  4. Now the hard begins as the prosecutor’s and her enemy’s in both police authorities, and perhaps inadvertently the media, begin there attempt at tearing down everything Ms. Mosby’s built, any ugly way it can, using anyone or any means.

You are correct & Spot On, Earl. Because she is going to be getting it from all sides. And what the media dos is not inadvertent, they add their nonsense on purpose.

The city has experienced 100 homicides this year, compared with 71 at this time last year, the police department said. It’s the fastest the city has reached 100 homicides since 2007. Last year, the city reached the mark on July 4. Nonfatal shootings are up more than 70 percent with at least 19 people shot on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Haven’t you heard? the thousands of white lives taken by other whites lives don’t matter it’s only when career criminals in blue fear for their lives during altercations with unarmed blacks, when “white lives matter” Heck they don’t even care when two skinhead gangs have and old time OK Corral shoot out where nine were killed.

If you going to post and try to gain credibility at least post a link to substantiate your claim. Last week it was Chicago, the week before it was Detroit and now its Baltimore.
