Many politicians expressed outrage after President Barack Obama didn’t show up to an anti-terror march in Paris this past weekend. Rep. Randy Weber (pictured), R-Texas, took to Twitter to share his frustrations, but as he criticized the President, he brought up Adolf Hitler’s trip to Paris after German troops invaded France during World War II. “Even Adolph Hitler thought it more important than Obama to get to Paris. (For all the wrong reasons.) Obama couldn’t do it for right reasons,” Rep. Weber tweeted. After receiving backlash for his outlandish comments, Rep. Weber has issued an apology. “I need to first apologize to all those offended by my tweet,” said Weber in a statement. “It was not my intention to trivialize the Holocaust nor to compare the President to Adolf Hitler. The mention of Hitler was meant to represent the face of evil that still exists in the world today. I now realize that the use of Hitler invokes pain and emotional trauma for those affected by the atrocities of the Holocaust and victims of anti-Semitism and hate.” Even though he apologized for the tweet he shared, Weber still believes that President Obama should be doing more to address these global issues. In the history of this county, when has the POTUS ever gone to another country to attend and participate in a march? If they were so figgin’ concerned about the ‘image’ of the US, then why didn’t they board a plane and fly their own happy azzes over there? It wasn’t too long ago that the good ol’ USA was harshly criticizing France for not getting involved with Dick Cheney’s wars. Remember the French/freedom fries debacle? And now they want to be their BFF? PLEASE!

If I had a dollar for every time a white man ( or woman for that matter) made a racist comments and then apologized, I would be a rich man. ” It is not those things that go into a man that defiles him; it is those things that come out of his mouth which defiles him”

  7. Weber is an asshole and does not know history.

Adolf Hitler held Jews captive in concentration camps and killed them. Our President has done nothing like that.

It seems like whenever we show some spunk and in this case Barack H Obama has some balls-White folks get UGLY!!!!

This POS only apologized because it made him look like the fool he really is. I would take that apology with a grain of salt and tell Weber to shove it where the sun don’t shine!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
