Mel B may be happily married now to Stephen Belafonte, but the former Spice Girl was involved in a same sex relationship with women before jumping the broom in 2007.
The Daily Mail reports that Mel B revealed she was “just one of those ladies” who had sexual experiences with women during an interview with British TV host Alan Carr. Despite the confession, E! Online noted that the “X Factor” judge stopped short of using the terms “lesbian” or “bisexual.”
“I would not call it that … Now I’m happily married,” Mel B stated.
The entertainer’s comments come after she generated headlines and talk after photographs showed her hugging and kissing a female friend while vacationing in Australia earlier this year.
Mel B’s romantic past with women was documented in 2013, when she reportedly told Howard Stern that she’d had a five-year relationship with another woman. The relationship eventually ended because, according to Mel B, “women are crazy.”
For anyone wondering if she was attracted to her fellow Spice Girls, Mel B revealed that “I kissed all of them, yes.”
“I got my tongue pierced and I wanted to try out my tongue piercing and so I kissed them all,” she stated at the time. “Back in the day I had fun.”
