3. Avoiding Spices

Spices are a great way to flavor food creatively and cut calories. Skip the salt, butter and sugar and experiment with more herbs and spices like cayenne and curry that have fat-fighting nutrients. You can also get more healthy vitamins, minerals and antioxidants your body needs by adding more spices to your diet.

4. Baking Without A Rack

Baking is a healthier and low-calorie alternative to frying, but cooking your food on just aluminum foil isn’t going to cut it! While your food is “marinating” in its own juices, it’s also soaking up its own grease. Next time you’re having baked fish or chicken, be sure to use a roasting pan or have  wire rack underneath your meat so that it can drain properly.
