With the death of Nelson Mandela, many have paid tribute to the man many South Africans call “Madiba”.

The Soweto Gospel Choir paid tribute to the icon in a special way.

At a popular Woolworths in South Africa as  shoppers made their way around the store, the choir slowly starts to sing. Shoppers stop to film the performance on their cell phones.

    Most people will probably miss the most poignant and fleeting moment of this unforgettable tribute. Right at the end there is a brief glimpse of a white lady in the background wiping a tear from her eye, could this ever have happened without Madiba, I think not.
