12-year-old Reginald Wells was knocked out cold after making fun of a teacher’s favorite NFL team.

CBS Houston reports the student says he was  innocently joking with an assistant math teacher in the hallway of the Willie Ray Smith Middle School but after making a wise crack about the Houston Texans, the teacher punched Wells.

The victim explained to Houston’s 12News, “All of a sudden he just hit me, in my shoulder and I looked at him like, ‘What the heck?’”

Moments later the teacher landed another shot in his face which knocked the 4 foot 11 student out cold. According to school’s principal, Wells “was punched, in the shoulder, and then hit two times and uppercut, and then slid across the floor.”

The teacher was fired on the spot and escorted from the school before apologizing to Wells for the incident.

How about before we start posting statements that suggest racism or anything else, how about getting all the details. Yes the student is African American and the teacher assistant is African American. And regardless of the socioeconomic status of the family, NO teacher, regardless of race has no right to touch a student. If the teacher assistant can’t handle the jokes that students and teachers share at times, then he should have never been in the classroom. Next time, speak about something when you know the facts.

“All of the sudden, the student was hit”? I highly doubt that and I’ll also guess the student was black because it seems apparent the student was a racist and claiming to be a victim when he really is no victim at all. I’ll also bet the student is from a welfare-recipient-family.

JanCorey this article is the least of your worries. Haven’t you heard? George Zimmerman is flat broke! He needs you again. It’s time to put the meth down and climb those stairs from your grandparents basement and rob them once again for their SSI checks to send him his cut. I know it’s upsetting to you to hear this news but please please spare theirs lives because you’re not the beneficiary of their life insurance policy, you’ll need them to continue to collect that check to support the rest of your pathetic life. Now take that last bump and go get’m fellow!

Wf, I see your jealousy over Mr. Zimmerman but facts about these charges and what can be proven in court have to be proven beyond a reasonable doubt and this case, just like Mr. Zimmerman’s previous case look more weak than even the charges the last time. Thank God it is legal to protect yourself from dope-heads like Trayvon Martin and I am so thankful he paid the prioce for his crimes against victim-Zimmerman.

Unfortunately anyone in breathing distance of your stink is paying the price. Take a break from the key board and brush your tooth. A little deodorant wouldn’t hurt either. Stop obsessing over young black males, what are you Catholic?

Now, that was funny Wf, thanks. See? you are a great example that even people in psych-wards around the country who are involuntarily-incarcerated still remain to ability, at times, to express some appreciation for knowledge and laughter. Thanks again Wf. 🙂

Nothing kay, but thanks so much for your concern. Facts do scare many people, especially the under-educated from my perspective and as proven right here by some of the trolls. Thanks again kay.
