The classic, family-favorite Twinkies are back!
The creme-filled, sponge cakes have been a household tradition since 1930 and after a brief hiatus the delicious treats will be gracing your shelves next week.
But, for all the folks who just can’t wait until then you can purchase your Twinkies before anyone else Sunday, July 14 at Walmart!
After you rack up on your Twinkies try-out these five quick and tasty recipes below that will definitely have you asking for more.

Easy Twinkie Strawberry Shortcake
1 container of strawberries
1 box of Twinkies
1 canister of whipped cream
Rinse and slice strawberries. Set aside.
Cut Twinkies lengthwise.
Layer Twinkies, strawberries and whipped cream as desired.
Twinkie Tiramisu
3 Tablespoon instant espresso powder
3/4 Cup sugar
8 Ounce cream cheese
1 Teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/2 Cup heavy cream
10 vanilla Twinkies, halved lengthwise
4 Ounce finely chopped semisweet chocolate
Preparation
Place espresso powder and 1/2 cup sugar in a heatproof bowl. Pour 1 cup boiling water into bowl and whisk to dissolve. Let cool to room temperature.
Combine cream cheese, vanilla and remaining 1/4 cup sugar in a large bowl and beat with an electric mixer until smooth. In another large bowl, beat heavy cream until it holds stiff peaks. Gently fold cream cheese mixture into whipped cream.
One at a time, dip 10 Twinkie halves into coffee mixture just to moisten. Place them alongside each other in bottom of a shallow 11-by-7-inch baking dish.
Spread half of cream cheese mixture over Twinkies, then sprinkle with 2 oz. chopped chocolate. Repeat with remaining Twinkies, cream cheese mixture and chocolate.
Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until well chilled, at least 3 hours or up to 2 days.

Fried Twinkies
6 Hostess Twinkies
6 Wooden Popsicle sticks
Vegetable oil, enough to cover Twinkies
Flour
For Batter:
1 Cup milk
2 Tablespoon vinegar
1 Tablespoon oil
1 Cup flour (mix to consistency)
1 Teaspoon baking powder
1/2 Teaspoon salt
Preparation
Freeze the Twinkies for at least 2 hours.
Heat your oil in fryer to 375 degrees.
Mix your batter as such: milk, vinegar, oil.
In another bowl blend flour, baking powder and salt.
Whisk wet ingredients into dry, mix until smooth.
Refrigerate until oil reaches temperature.
Insert sticks into Twinkies, leaving enough of a end to hold.
Dust with flour and dip into batter. Be sure batter covers the entire Twinkie. Place Twinkie in hot oil with utensil being sure the Twinkie browns evenly (the Twinkie will float) about 3- 4 minutes.
Remove to paper towel and cool for 5 minutes.
Serve with mixed berry preserves, heated until warm. (Use for dipping.)
Frozen Chocolate Dipped Twinkies
1 bag of semisweet chocolate chips
1 box of Twinkies
Powdered sugar
Parchment paper
Pour chocolate chips into microwavable bowl. Place in microwave and heat until melted.
Place Twinkies on parchment paper and cover with melted chocolate. Freeze until hardened or overnight.
Sprinkle Twinkies with powdered sugar before eating.
Bacon Wrapped Twinkies
1 package of bacon or turkey bacon
1 box of Twinkies
Toothpicks
Preparation
Fry bacon in skillet until very lightly crispy. Set aside to cool.
Place Twinkie in a horizontal position. Wrap bacon from one end of the Twinkie to the other.
Secure bacon with a toothpick. Enjoy!
