In a little less than two weeks George Zimmerman will stand before a judge and jury for murdering Trayvon Martin. As many of you now know, Zimmerman’s attorney’s have released cell phone pictures of Trayvon, that they claim will let the world see the real Trayvon.

Well let’s lay that out there for a minute. Are we saying that wearing gold teeth, smoking weed, and using the term gangsta to describe yourself makes you a candidate for murder. Most of us would be horrified to mildly embarrassed to see the full contents of our kids cell phones. More over, when I think back now to conversations and silly things I did at 16 and 17 I am reminded how often I represented myself in ways that were in opposition to how I was being raised and even who I was.

Hell, the last three Presidents of the United States were admitted drug users in their youth. But there is one thing that all of us, most importantly the judge and jury must remember when this case starts. Is that on the night Trayvon was killed, he was NOT on any illegal substance, nor was any found on him? He was not carrying a weapon, he did not have gold teeth in his mouth, it was not reported that he engaged Zimmerman with aggressive behavior or boisterous statements about being a gangsta. He was in a neighborhood he belonged in, walking down a street his parents pay taxes to live on, minding his own business and just being the 17-year-old young man he was.

Shame on this defense team. I hope that the facts shine in this trial more than the desire to defame a boy or hang his killer. Justice is never served when the truth is blocked. But even with that lets not forget that there are more Trayvon’s.

Kendrick Johnson’s family understands. As they fight for justice for their son

The high school sophomore, Kendrick Johnson was found dead hidden in a rolled-up mat in Georgia’s Lowndes High School’s gymnasium. Johnson’s parents believe he was murdered and are seeking answers and justice.

Authorities ruled his death accidental, claiming Johnson was ensnared in the mat while attempting to retrieve a piece of clothing. A preliminary autopsy found no signs of struggle or injuries congruent with a murder and the case was closed soon after the autopsy results were released.

However, a recently released EMT report contradicts the sheriff reports with how body was positioned. The autopsy report does not mention the bruising that is apparent to the EMT. Also, EMT said it was an  “apparent crime scene”. Why did Sheriff say in less than 24 hours it was an accident? Family it is already alleged that the Sheriff’s office has threatened and intimidated people to speak. The only thing the family believes we can to do is call on Justice Department to intervene.

For more details go to JUSTICEFORKJ.COM and if you want to call the justice department, 202-514-4609 please do it in the right spirit and simply say “I WANT JUSTICE FOR KENDRICK JOHNSON” Please Intervene.

TJMS Family you know that these families are just two of many fighting for justice. Lend a hand where you can. What happens to one of us really does affect us all.
