Juanita Bynum Finally Speaks Out, Says She Was Wrongly Jailed
Christian evangelist and gospel artist Juanita Bynum is finally speaking out about her April 18 arrest in Dallas, Texas.
Bynum was arrested on charges related to a warrant fo her arrest after she failed to appear in a civil court case with a Dallas promoter.
The promoter alleged Bynum owes him $140,000 over a failed appearance.
Bynum wrote the following statement on her website explaining her side of the story:
Until recently, it was my understanding that a resolution had been reached involving a business dispute between Mr. Al Wash, of ALW Entertainment and myself.
I was wrongfully detained, by the Dallas Texas Sheriff’s Dept. for failing to appear in court several months ago, for a civil court appearance, of which I knew nothing, involving the prior mentioned business dispute.
Bynum was released after she made a court appearance in Dallas, saying “I have not been found guilty of any fraudulent, unethical or non-integral behavior.”
