Mayor Cory Booker says He’s Earned about $1 Million in Speaking Fees
Popular Newark Mayor Cory Booker told reporters this week that he has earned around $1 million dollars from various speaking engagement he has done around the country.
He says he only does speaking engagements for mostly non-profit groups and educational programs.
According to the New York Post, Booker has donated most of the money to charity, which includes a drug rehab center and a local NJ school.
Booker earns approximately $135,000 a year as mayor of Newark.
